2- Booker won an 8 man elimination match to win the vacant title. The match included:
Charlie Haas, Rene Dupree, Kenzo Suzuki, Billy Gunn, Luther Reigns, John Cena and Rob Van Dam.
Cena had been stripped of the title by Smackdown GM Kurt Angle
3- Booker won the vacant title after a Best-of-7 series against Chris Benoit. Randy Orton won the 7th and
deciding match vs. Benoit, having substituted for Booker beginning with the 5th match with Booker up 3-1.
The title was held up following a match between Booker and Benoit on 11-22-05 which ended in a double pin
